Josh Howard’s Overview
Josh Howard was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on April 28, 1980. Nancy Henderson is the name of his mother. Kevin Robinson is also the name of his father.
Howard wasn’t a healthy baby when he was born because his legs were bent inward. His mother told the doctors to break his leg bones and set them back in place so that they would grow straight.
Joshua’s life wasn’t easy, but he was always surrounded by love. Helen Howard, his grandmother, lived at 1500 (street not given), and Nancy Henderson, his mother, lived right down the block.
Josh’s mother thought that he would be happier living with his grandmother. His mother was still an important part of his life, though. The player stays close to both women, especially his grandmother, who still lives in the same house he grew up in.
He is called “my Joshua” by Helen. Kevin Robinson, Josh’s father, left his family when Josh was a baby. He didn’t talk to Josh again until he was 11 years old.
High school career
Howard went to Glenn High School in Kernersville, North Carolina. In his senior year, he was named to the First Team All-State and averaged six blocks per game while making 70% of his shots.

Howard needed a SAT score of at least 950 to get into Wake Forest University. He didn’t get a 950 and said his score was “somewhere in the 500s.”
Instead, he spent a year at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. There, he averaged 19.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, giving him a “double-double.”
Hargrave had a 27–3 record under Howard’s leadership, and he shot well from the floor (56%). He also made 44% of his shots from beyond the 3-point line and 85% of his free throws on average.
Howard took part in the game between new players from the ACC and the SEC. Howard scored 14 points in 15 minutes, which helped the ACC beat the SEC by a score of 145–115.

Because of an injury that ended his season, the Toros let him go on February 27, 2014. After that, Josh joined the New Orleans Pelicans in July 2014 for the NBA Summer League.
In the summer of 2016, Piedmont International University hired Howard as their new head coach. After that, he led the Bruins to a record of 14-10.
The team started the season ranked seventh in Division II and ended the season ranked fourteenth. The team’s record at the end of 2017 was also 14-10.
